Hi,

I've got an Abit AI7 with FSB OC to 255 (Bus speed 900).
My NB fan occasionaly drop to 300 RPM (After shutting down everything is OK) so I've decided to buy a new one' and I was wandering if a passive cooler will do or do I have to get a fan? and if so which one would you recommend?

Thanks
Uri

The HR-05 is overkill for a 865PE chipset.

Any of the passive Zalman NB coolers will do, just make sure it'll be compatible with the retention mecanism of your NB cooler.

Zalman ZN-NBF47

Really good passive NB cooler, just make sure it fits first. Brought down my chipset temperature by 25 degrees C, no joke. It's silent as well.

Upss

yes, multiplectic is right, the HR-05 is too much for it. I thought I saw 965 for some reason :S

Anyways, any passive zalman cooling (the orange heatsink or the blue one) are good enough for it.
