First off, I am not sure this is the right forum, but I think it is.
I am having trouble setting up my wireless home network. I have 3 computers, all running WinXP Home SP2. I have run the Network Wizard on all 3, all named MSHome with file and print sharing enabled. One of the computers can't see the other two computer's shared files. But, the other two can see that computer's shared files. They can even transfer files to the shared folders.
Incase that made no sense...
Comp A: Can see both B and C's files. Netgear PCI 54g
Comp B: Can see both A and C's files. Zyxel PCI 54g
Comp C: Can't see any files from A or B. Netgear USB 54g
A and B can see C and transfer files to C.
This is all wireless, with a Qwest ActionTec wireless g router.
Let me know if you have any ideas why Comp C can't see the other computer's shared files.
Then, check My Network Places on C. If you still can't see the shared folders from C, go up one level and see if it can see the other two computers.
I've had this "one way" access a time or two on my home network, and have gotten it to work by rebooting and waiting until all the connections actually get established. It is as if WinXP sometimes just gets the folder sharing slightly confused.
