i know you guys probably read this a lot so I'm sorry but i just want to know if my current pc could run not including fitting in my case i have

ram- 2 gigs of ddr pc3200
proc-athlon 4000
mobo-asrock939dual-vsta
power supply 580 sunbeam 20-24 pin
i think thats all i need to list.

I think u can run it, just make sure ur Power supply delivers at least 28A on the 12V rail.


Also, u better have a big case for this one. :lol:

There was an article on THG some time ago explaining how the 8800 GTX is bottlenecked by the CPU. Sorry, don't have a link. Anyway, their conclusion was that an E6600 or E6700 or so can make the 8800 GTX shine but something slower wouldn't. Consider an 8800 GTS...

I have a GTS 320MB, 8800

AMD 3000+

i LOVE IT :D WOOOHOOOO you will be fine , PSU 28 amps on the 12v :)

hey slashzapper what is ur config??
where r u from?
i have a Athlon 64 3200 on a A8NE. will a 8800GTS work fine in my system???

I heard from my friend that the 8800GTX won't work on some hybrid ASRock motherboard; drivers conflict or something. Whatever, he is picking up an Asus P5N32-E SLI Plus (the nForce 650i north and nForce 590 south) and stuff.
