Hello, I was just wondering whether windows xp or windows 2000 will provide better performance for gaming. Does anyone know? It looks like 2000 is more secure (?), and faster.

xp eats up more RAM, but some games now require that use XP. plus xpsp2 isnt so bad like regular XP was, and the built in wireless access is useful, so i would go to XP over 2000.

IE 7 does not work with 2000. I have 2000Pro. Plus as stated below. Some of the newer games will not play on anything below XP. :(
