did any of you guys ever use this program, im thinking of dling it, but dont want to lose my trusty pc. anyone? cuz i have a lot of processes running, about 44

AFAIK it's spyware free. You can use it for free just by googling the name of the process so probably not worth buying.

well i wasnt gonna buy it, i was gonna use the free trial and then delete it when I know what is what on my system. i used the google thing last night at time of post, and all of them said "to find out more..." so i got confused

btw, how many processes should a normal winxp system run?

30-40 in my experience. Depends if you have lots of drivers for RAID, graphics etc...

Anti-virus and firewall can sometimes use up a few processes - AVG Free uses up 4 processes and my ATi drivers have 3.

Which Sony software? I've got SonicStage (not by choice - MP3 player!) and that doesn't have any active processes. I've just noticed that I have 6 SVCHOST.exe processes active, though, which I guess is for my network.

uPnPFRAMEWORK.EXE, i have 2 of them. and then i have photoserver....well i have a sony pc.
