I'm building a new system and I'm wanting to know which kind of ram would be the best, speed wise.

Where would be a good place to learn/do-some-research on the differences between DDR2 Ram speeds.

DDR2-533,DDR2-667,DDR2-800,etc

The effects of the RAM speed are directly dependent on the processor you want. For example, here are two articles done on the effects of RAM speed, one on the Core 2 Duo and the other done on AM2 socket CPUs.
