Pictures taken with a Olympus C-8080. Dark shots were taken with a ~5-15 second shutter speed...so no, it's not really that bright.

Yeah, I love it!

I've been playing some CS:S, C&C 3, and Oblivion. I don't have any complaints at all, it looks beautiful. Now, I've never gamed on similar size LCD's of other brands so I can't tell you if it's any better or not. I like to do things right the first time and not worry about it if it did cost a little extra. I'm going to get a lot of use out of it so it's worth it to me...

However, I didn't buy it off New Egg. Their policy is that it has to have 8 dead pixels to replace it. I paid a little extra and bought it at Best Buy. They let me test it at the store before I bought it. Worth the extra money in my opinion.

I didn't know bestbuy would let you do that. Thats good to know. I think I'd take the same route. Even if it only had a few dead pixels it would probably bug the hell out of me
