Editing camcorder captured video on computer

Hi there,

I plan to capture video using my camcorder to the computer for editing. I need a simple setup not too complex.. maybe an external device? I don't really want to change my current graphic card too.. by the way my camcorder is using s-video connector.. any advise??

If all you need is the box with S-video input that lets you stream the video onto the PC then you might want to use a TV card like this or an external thing like PLEXTOR ConvertX PVR

If you want to be able to connect various sources - both digital and analog then you might need something better like Creative Video Blaster

So it all depends what you really need and how much you want to spend.
