basically i had a 'show desktop icon' and a 'shortcut to internet explorer' icon in my quick launch toolbar. By mistake i dragged both icons out of the toolbar (into the desktop to be precise) and now im trying to drag them back in but its not working. Is there a folder in windows that takes me to these toolbars?

Register or log in to remove.

Right-click the task bar and select properties.

Make sure "show quick launch" is checked.

Make sure the taskbar is unlocked.

Drag icons you want to it... I am not sure how to make a show desktop icon.

Go back to properties and lock the taskbar when you are done.
