Rip Impoted music

The microsoft forums suck, so I'm asking this here.

I'm trying to get windows media player to display Japanese writing for song titles and descriptions.

I have installed the Japanese language pack.

When I view a web page, or click the "Find Album Info" in wmp, it's in Japanese, but the titles of the song, and the album are all squares.

Could someone please help me here?

It's not something I have to have, but I just can't stand seeing nothing but squares.
