I'm having a heck of a time finding reviews on wireless adapter cards. Can anyone provide some recommendations? Does it matter what card I pick? I'll be looking for both a desktop adapter and a laptop card. The desktop is a PC, the laptop is a Mac Powerbook.

I am likely buying the new Apple Extreme N router, because I love the USB port that I'll be able to hook up a printer and a external drive to. And it will probably be easy to use (Apple is usually pretty good with that).

Thanks.

Since the 11n standard has not been ratified as a real spec, 9+mo out. Any thing you buy today may not work later on. If you are buying one now you need to buy the one that matches your router, for compatibility.
