Why would you want one?
That would mean that your BEST quality picture would be the smallest.
HD is entirely 16:9.

4:3 hopefully NEVER!
16:9 within a year or so or sooner. I have no idea.

A widescreen edition of a movie presents the film frame as it was seen in
the movie theater. This is the version that best preserves the filmmaker's
original intent.
End of story!

they have a sale on their TV's right now too-not sure what price range
you're looking at-but I'd definitely take a look at them.

I suggest if you want to take advantage of the Sears sale you take it a bit
farther and make them an offer. They will negotiate. Their sale price on
the Sony 60XS955 is $4099.00 but they readily sold me one for $3652.00,
matching (+ 10% of the difference) a price I had been quoted by an appliance
store.
It was to have been delivered yesterday, but they had to put that off until
Monday (supposedly) so they gave us another 10% off, which put the price at
$3250, $850 under the "sale" price. Good news: great price. Bad news: no
TV yet. But the lesson still is: negotiate.

wow! sounds like you got a pretty good deal-and you must be good at
negotiating too how did you go about getting that deal? Did you
speak with a manager-and did you go to the store to purchase it or
online?

What would you want a 4:3 set for?
ALL HD programming is 16:9!
