Pretty much what the title says. We already established that a socket 775 dual-core Xeon could be used instead of a standard desktop dual-core CPU like the E6300.

But what about the quad-core 775 Xeons? Would a 3210 or 3220 fit in a quad-core ready motherboard like the Asus P5B?

I don't see why not, since there aren't any VRM issues like there were for Conroe with existing mobos. But wait for other replies just in case I'm wrong.
