Hi All,

Is it possible to create a 4TByte volume using hardware RAID and connect directly to Windows 2003 server as a usable 4TByte volume? I understand the difference between basic and dynamic disks but am unsure if w2k3 server will pick up the hardware configured volume as a single volume, or will it need to break it down to basic disks and re-configure to dynamic in order to "see" 4Tbyte volume.

many thanks - mal
