Huh. I was messing with windows (/toggle, etc.) and could swear that
"menu" was the keyword for the menu window with the health bars and such.
Now the only think I can get menu to work for is popping up the main menu.

What's the keyword for that "window"?

Any cute, nonobvious, hidden "window" keywords you know?

That's the one window that doesn't seem to have a name.

"Menu" is the name of the "menu" window you get when you click on menu
(various different toggles options, the ID, the options choice, the
bug/petition choice etc.)

I have this nasty feeling that the hp/end/exp window isn't closeable at
all and that it's a deliberate choice by the devs since all the other
windows are accessible through it.

Pity, because it means you can't ever just go by the stat bars over the
character and completely ignore exp/debt, by removing them from
visibility. Well I guess you could stick another window over it to
hide it.

I'm almost certain I rescaled early in my messing around, but now I can't
seem to affect it. I guess it will have to be set with the Options menu
slider, and then all the other windows reset with a long bind.

Here are the window names I've found:

nav
map
tray - the powers tray
powers - the powers inventory window
chat
insp
target
mission
contact
enhancements - collected enhancements tray
badge
clues
friends
team
email

There's also: "manage", the powers/slotting management window, but it's
not accessible by any of the window commands except its own, /manage.

There's also a bug in that the windows control commands use "tray" and
"powers" as synonyms for the powers tray, and the powers inventory window
is only accessible by its own command, /powers. (That is "/toggle
powers" and "/toggle tray" both control the powers tray, not the powers
inventory window.)

Anything I've missed, here?

Watch this space - soon. :)

Credit X for pointing that out, although I suppose I would have gotten
around to noticing and passing it along.

As he pointed out, going into the options menu resets all of the windows
to the scale you've set on the slider, which is a PITA. I suggest that...

1) Set the slider scale to adjust the menu/HP bar to the right size.
2) Tinker with the sizes of the other windows until you have them just
right.
3) Write a keybind that resets all the windows that are a different scale
from the slider, bound to some obscure key.

/bind CTRL+F10 "windowscale map 0.6$$windowscale tray 0.8$$[...]"

That way, you can whack-fixit every time.

Is the costumes window accessible this way? It's not resizable normally,
and I'd quite like to have it as a little set of buttons below the
status/menu window.

You can call it, I believe, but not resize it. Try.

It should be in my list. Thanks for pointing it out.

Yes, the following window commands exist respond to show, hide and scale
commands, although they don't work directly:

costume
help
supergroup

You can only scale the windows down to 60% (0.6), which is considerably
bigger than buttons for the costume options. Nice to be able to make them
bigger, though.

There don't appear to be any console commands, direct or for the window
commands, for the I.D. or Support.
