dlink drivers/software

has anyone found the dlink dwl-g650 driver/software to be buggy on installation. i'm just having one hell of a time trying to get the dlink to install correctly, as i am getting no recognition of the pcmcia hardware after reboot, and the info is not listed in the "adaptor" section of my network properties. w98

even though I am on w2k, when I was in w9x, it was fairly easy to make windows to find a pease of the hardware. could you please provide info about how you "installed" the drivers in the first place. DLink drivers have to be installed prior to "insertion" of the nic. have you changed the slots while in windows (unplug-re-plug-into-different-plug , etc.
