I dont see a boot sequence or here any beeps... the computer just turns on and does nothing. I have tried changing the ram, I have tried switching out the video card and I still have the same result when I turn on the computer. That leads me to beleive that the problem is with the processor or motherboard.

Motherboard : ABIT IC7-G
Video Card: EVGA 6600 GT AGP
Processor: Pentium 4 3.2ghz
Ram : 1 gig of crucial DDR400 ram 4 sticks.

This is the first time I have ever installed a custom fan or arctic silver to a processor, I did it without hastle but something tells me I may have messed something up.

Try resetting the CMOS. I had the same syptoms with sa friend's ABIT AB9 new build and that got it going. No problems since.

If it turns on but still has issues, try flashing the BIOS.

CMOS: little jumper thingy, you move it to the other pins for 5sec and then move it back. Resets your BIOS., Unfortunately didnt help my 3.2ghz P4 :(

Having a similar problem myself with a DS3r from Gigabyte. No fun at all this.

I turn it on, it spins up the CD rom drives and then the fans come on full whoosh. No Bios screen or anything.

What's the sequence again?

CMOS-->Post-->BIOS

I think the break is
CMOS-->Post-//->BIOS

I'm not hearing any beeps. Sure hope it aint a dead board :(
