Help S.P. 2 Won't Install!!!

As it says in the topic name I am having difficulty installing my Windows XP Service Pack 2, If anyone has any suggestions or solutions do share.

How are you installing, where from, what happens, how do you know its not installing etc.

Sorry, I have tried to install it from both disc and windows download. Each time I have the same problem. It just refuses to install and gives me a error message.

What is the error message?

Some file cannot be found. I can't view the file because my computer is being reformatted as I type. But the error message is bound to come up again so when it does I'll keep you posted.

Are you using the corp edition of XP Pro? SP2 wont install on that without changing the product key.

Yeah it is a corporate edition but the pk is different also one of my friends said i might need to get the .NET framework also
