Long sign in

I have a problem when trying to sign in to MSN Messenger 7.5 when connected through my router (DI-614+). It often takes 30 seconds to a minute before I can see my contacts and it just hangs. Sometimes it goes back to the "Reconnecting in xx seconds" screen after it hangs for a minute.

When I connect directly though the modem it signs in very fast.

Is there a port I should be forwarding or an option in the router settings that could fix this?

try to open TCP 1863,6891-6900,6901 and UDP 6901 ports

to open UDP ports can be dangerous
