is the x1950xt the cheapest card to be able to run obilivion, fear, NWN2, and Supreme Commander on max setting smoothly? oh yeah with a
C2D E6400
2 x 512 mb patroit 800 dual channel ram?
550 watt PSU

Any card above the 7600GT should be able to play oblivion pretty well, you may not get 40fps but you'll get playable frame rates.

I play oblivion on max settings with no aa or af on a 7600GT @ SXGA resolution.

I play full on a 7900GT, plays a little better with my OC, Id reccomend an ATI card if you want to play Oblivion better, ati tends to handle it alot better....

For Near the same price a 8800GTS 320 would do alot better than an x1950xt in Oblivion. It also has dx10 so visual quality is better and it supports future titles.
