Mainframe Emulator needed - Any links?

Hi folks. I'm working on a class the latest project for which is working on older style mainframes. I need to find an emulator for win XP that would emulate a terminal connected to an IBM 3090 mainframe. Other than being able to connect to the mainframe I need to be sure that it will support email. Can anyone help me out with a link? Thanks!
