Hey all,
I've been trying to find a solution for this for two days now. :(

I just put together a new system with the following specs:

ASUS A8R-MVP 939 mobo w/ an AMD 3800+ (single core)
2gb Corsair XMS (2x1gb)
eVGA 7900 GT KO
74gb Raptor (10k rpm) 16mb cache
Antec 550w Truepower 2.0
NEC 3550A 16x DVD-RW

Basically, when I boot from the windows install CD, it asks me "press Enter to install windows XP Home edition, or press R (or some other letter) to repair windows, and press F3 to exit setup." After I press enter, something loads and then my screen starts to flicker scrambled numbers/text, and looks like this:

Does anyone have ANY idea what's up? If I didn't provide enough information, I will be happy to check anything. Thanks in advance!

That's not what I wanted to hear :(

Thanks though, I'll look into seeing if another vid card works.

I think you're right. I just successfully installed windows using my roommate's X300 :x

I guess the last resort is RMA. BOOOO FOR 7900's.
