hey guys I got a question that is having even my friend (network guru) puzzled. Well I have a laptop that I can use VPN on. Well last time i tried to use it at home it worked fine.. now it does not work at all.. here are the symptoms.

I plug the computer into my router

I start it up and the light says I am connected is ON my router (little 1 sign on my netgear router)

when it is done booting up the 1 sign turns off

I log in and it still is off

I go to restart or shutdown the laptop and it turns ON!

only when I am booting up or shutting down my machine...... what is the deal!
