Which Setup would be better?

Which system would be better
a Intel Core2Duo E4300 with 2GB DDR2 667 and a X1650Pro
or a AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ with 2GB DDR2 800 and a 7600GT

In My personal opinion, wich is probably horridly clouded my bias, I would go with the AMD Setup, but thats largely atributed to the fact that I am a loyal Nvidia Fan. If it were my choice I would take the Intel Cpu, wich should be for more powerful, and the Nvidia card. and Of course the faster ram.

Make sure to get a eVGA - they are the cream of the crop for Nvidia stock(no OC), and upgrades well.

Both are $800 and that is my absolute Budget. They will be used for games.

It's easier to upgrade a vid card than a CPU. Get the better CPU now. Upgrade the vid card in a year. Then you get the best of both worlds

Besides, spend the extra $10 or $20 and just get the 7600GT with the Intel. It's peanuts on the total build cost but a much better card.
