i just recieved my gaming rig with no operating system. which was my choice. to save a buck. for some reason it boots up in some home oem it had and asks for a valid key which i never got from them.
When i try and install my own i get to the choose partition list and all i see is unknown deviced or something in the list. I click enter to just keep going and it goes into a error screen about some setupdd.exe error or something similar.
What can i do to correct this problem? I have installed winxp countless times on normal set hard drives but never on a raid 0 setup.
thanks in advance.

You need to load the raid drivers from a floppy when the xp cd is loading. At the bottom of the loading screen it will say to press F6 to load raid drivers or something along that line. If you didnt get one with the computer, which you should have, you can download the drivers for your board off the web or contact the place you bought the computer from to get it.
