I am building a computer for a person and it has a muilti boot system with windows 98se on c: and windows xp pro on e:. well, for certian reasons my customer already has plans for e: so is it possible to change the e: drive letter which has windows xp pro to the letter z? I want to change the drive letter to Z: because I know my customer doesn't have that reserved for anything.

In short no you cant.

Take a look at these links. They all say you shouldnt do this if nothing is wrong.

Your best bet would be to reinstall xp on a different partition.
