Okay I have my computer set up through the win xp network setup thing, however, I cannot see other computers on the LAN to share files with. I found a tutorial before that allowed me to see them by changing a few simple steps in the properties of the ethernet controller but I forgot what to do and was wondering if anyone knew of the site or how to configure it.

Make sure your firewall is not blocking you from seeing the other computers. Right click on the drive or folder you want to share and choose sharing, give it a name and letter for the network.
