Okay folks this may be a dumb question, but being "old school" the only dumb question is the one that goes unasked...so will there or is there currently in the "works" a version of firefox that will be compatable with vista, I hated IE5 bad enough now more junk from microsoft( including their new "security suite" ) :?:

Currently running Firefox and IE7 under Vista Beta 2.

I don't know if there will be a version specifically for Vista... but from the looks of it there doesn't need to be... it runs fine as is.

Since there isn't a specific version for 2k or ME or 98 or... you get the idea. Future versions may roll in some new functionality for Vista (i.e. priviledge escalation for installation, aero visuals, etc.) but that is neither here nor there. And it's likely that any changes will be in the main version and just not activated for other versions of Windows, if there are any such features.
