I left for spring break last week with my new computer turned off. I also turned off the heat in the house, since last week it was about 75 at the house i didnt think i needed to keep the heat on. when i came back the house was around 40 or so degrees. I let the house get warmer then turned on my computer. It ran for an hour fine, then it started going off. now when i turn the computer on, it usually powers off between 10 seconds and 3 mins. what should i do now? the temps are still good never more than 57c. and i reset the bio's to all the defualt settings. What would be the most likely problem of the cold? thanks

I really doubt that the PC being cold would affect it in any way, I'm sure it's a coincidence. I would give it all a good cleaning, maybe reseat the heat sink on the CPU and reapply the thermal paste. Make sure everything is connected properly, maybe something worked loose.
