Apologies if this is the wrong forum. I must have made a mistake in my search somehow, but when I searched all "Hardware" for "UPS" it didn't return any results. I know that is crazy because I found a thread that had the word UPS in it. =/

Anyways - I would like to purchase a UPS for my 3 computers. Is there a comparison guide on TH for what to look for in UPS's? I've never bought one before.

Thank you in advance, sorry if this is a redundant post since the search didn't work for me.

Here is a quick & dirty way to determine what unit you need, it sounds like you want to get a single UPS for all your devices...

-Go to the free PSU calc and determine the max watts for each
-go to the UPS power requirement calculator and put in the sum of all three in "computer load" and add whatever else you need (i.e. 30w for a typical LCD or 100w for CRT, 10w for router/hub etc)

If this meets / exceeds your requirements Provantage.com has a pretty good deal on the Ultra ULT33046 2000va/1200w $169/178 shipped
