I'm still searching for a TV tuner and a sound card. And I'm not buying all of this from Newegg, although most parts I will, I'm using it to help figure out the parts I want.
This is my first attempt at building a computer so I'd appreciate any and all advice.
Thanks in advance.

This is a gaming build? Overclocking?

Profile: journeyman
More Information

It'll be my main computer replacing a 6 year old Dell. I don't plan for intense gaming, thats why I have such a low grade VC. I want this to be my all-purpose machine I guess.
I plan to OC the VC a little, outside of that I won't be overclocking.

2 things I'm thinking about changing

Motherboard:
GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3 LGA 775

or
MSI P6N SLI-FI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i

Power Supply:
ENERMAX Liberty ELT500AWT ATX12V 500W Power Supply 90V~265V

or
ENERMAX Noisetaker II EG495P-VE ATX12V 485W Power Supply 115/230 V

The memory is one hell of a deal. probably best for a stock pc. Lifetime warranty. Works out of the box.

The cpu is a good choice.

You could get away with a brand name 350w psu. 350w 18a can power 7600gt. 6200 is almost like the onboard 6100 chipset. However, some mobos won't post if the psu is lower than 400w. So out of the two, I'd go with the 485w enermax. Both have the same combined +12v 32a. Either can power 8800 gts. I'd downgrade the psu to fortron or hiper 400w if the video won't be upgraded.

As to mobos, I'd say get the ds3 for the solid capacitors which last longer than typical ones. You can get 5-7 years of use out of it.

The rest of the parts aren't terribly important so I won't comment on them.
