Need a new Wireless manager... The Windows XP one sux

I am sick of the Windows XP Wireless Manager. When another signal is in the air, it boots me off of the signal I am useing and goes to the other signal....even when I have it in settings not to use the other signal. Please....somone tell me of a good Wireless Manager program for windows xp that won't let this happen.

Check to see if there is one for your wireless card. A lot of wireless cards (even integrated ones) come with some sort of wireless manager.

I am useing the wifi card that came with my laptop in which it uses the Windows XP wireless manager.

There should be software for your card. In the properties for your wireless adapter under the Wireless Networks tab there's an option to use specific software for your adapter.

There will be software for the card... most laptop manufacturers simply don't install it and rely on the one within Windows. It's out there... you just might have to download it yourself.
