Has anyone had problems with the X-Fi XtremeGamer with their system? I think my card is preventing my computer from even getting to BIOS. I'm having difficulty isolating the problem.

Hi,
Bummer. Do you have onboard sound? if so, with the card out boot to bios and disable it. Then stick the sound card back in. If that doesn't work try a different slot. Please post results.
good luck,

Here are my results. I determined my MOBO is faulty after trying 3 different audio card, 2 CPUS, 3 video cards, resetting the CMOS, and cursing Crom. It's gone in for replacement

Good to hear you found the problem. In the future when posting for help, It makes easier for those on the forum if the poster list the components of the troubled system. I've gotten lucky helping people quickly because they listed the components and knew of a know issue with paticular components.

Good luck,
