I have installed the MS patch as well as the AMD patch. I dont seem to be getting any problems in games, though i dont play many. However, I do experience studdering in day to day windows navigation. When i select files (.mp3, .exe, .XXX, pretty much anything) and then right click to delete or rename...I get an annoyingly long pause before the drop down box will show up. Does anyone else have this problem? I have both patchs, the regedit set to 1 and CnQ is disabled oh and XP sp2. Im at my wits end with this problem its so annoying to wait for this lagginess.

Ive read Anandtech, HardOCP and others and i havent heard anyone speaking of this issue. Anyone?

Any help or comments are definitly appreciated.
Thanks all.

Did you install your chipset and storage controller drivers? Is your hard drive slow/old?

this only seams to happen to me, after xp has been installed for a few months, and i clutter my HD with stuff then delete it, then frag and still does it.
