Alternate Licensing Server & OS CALS vs TS CALs

2 Questions

1) If I activate a new licensing server on my domain just prior to the 120 expiry of another licensing server on our domain, will i be able to let my users login for another 120 days using temporary TS CALS's ?

2) I have 10 users accessing applications on a W3K server via TS. Do I have to purchase TS CALs as well as the W3K CAL's, or are the TS CALs good enough ?
