Well aren't they dropping all C2D prices in late April? I mean the E6600 would be around that price and most of the benchmarks show E6400 comparable with 6000+.

Benchmarks are nothing, most of the places that do it are biased, even some of the benchmarking programs show a higher score when they're actually slower. But oh well, not much we can do.
What was that again? AMD = ALL MOST DEAD,!!! lol their lost and trying to find their way back.Dont get me wrong,I was with AMD for years, but both of my x6800 setups beat anything that AMD has to offer.Even my ol'ladys e6300 thats OCed to 2.93 will beat any AMD setup. Its going to take them awhile to catch up,if ever. So go waist your money. It would be better spent on a e6850.
Problem is, that chip won't oc at all beyond 3ghz (perhaps 3.2 tops) and it still only can compete with the e6600 which shall be cheaper in a few weeks, I say dump that chip for either the 5200 and oc that (roughly $80 less once newegg drops the price, kinda weird how they raised it instead 8O ), or just get a conroe (or you could do the smart move and wait to see what amd has in store with k10)
