I need to make a decision today between these two, as a fellow
is coming tomorrow to install a new elliptical dish and receiver
(I've been using non-HD DirecTV for a few years with the old
circular dish.)

Opinions? I'm leaning toward the Samsung because a guy
at Circuit City let me browse through the Hughes manual and
it describes what to me is an astoundingly stupid feature of
the Hughes, namely that every time you press Guide it defaults
to All Channels. I suppose I could program a macro on my
programmable remote to do the sequence of keypresses to
get me automatically to a favorites list, so I shouldn't automatically
eliminate the Hughes I guess.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
