Price is the same.

Dell
Processor AMD Athlon™ II X2 Processor 250 (3.0GHz, 1M, 2C)
Operating System Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64Bit, English
Memory2 4GB2 DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHz
Hard Drive 1000GB3 SATA hard drive (7200RPM)
Video Card Integrated ATI Radeon HD4200 Graphics

VS

Processor Intel® Core™ i3-2120 processor(3MB Cache, 3.30GHz)
Operating System Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64Bit, English
Memory2 4GB2 Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHz
Hard Drive 500GB3 SATA hard drive (7200RPM)
Video Card Intel® HD Graphics

Check the processor comparison page:
The Athlon is priced around $85 US
The Intel i3 around $130 US

Compare AMD Athlon II X2 250 3.0 GHz Socket AM3 Processor TO Intel Core i3 i3-2120 3.30 GHz

Other differences are:
The Hard Drive size, the AMD system has a 1000GB Hard Drive vs 500GB on the Intel System, less disk space to compensate for the more expensive processor.

And Video Cards;
Video Card Integrated ATI Radeon HD4200 Graphics
Video Card Intel® HD Graphics
ATI is supposed to be better, but a system with a better processor is more desireable... you can always add another Hard Drive... and a PCI Express video card which may be in your plans anyway. So with that in mind, the Intel system would be my selection.

Intel & AMD Processors... you can see here how the AMD Athlon 250 compares to the Intel i3
