Stupid D Link Router

I have two computers, which are hooked up to the router, then go to a modem. I have Comcast. The weird thing is, one computer(the one that I'm on right now) sometimes doesn't have internet. It starts fine, and then 5 minutes later, the connection drops. This happens all day. It's really annoying. Anybody know why? The tech support from India isn't a great help IMO.

Need more info to help out.
1. What type of NIC are you using in your computer
2. What is the model number of your D-link router
3. What is the model/make of your cable modem
4. What is running DHCP?
5. Have you tried a ipconfig release & renew
6. Have you tried a different NIC in your Computer?
7. Credit card and ssn please (just kidding) 8)

Haha, I'm not stupid ENOUGH to give you my SSN and credit card numbers...if I knew what they were. I'm 14. :lol: I reinstalled XP Pro and BAM! LMAO. Everything's all right now, except my Ubuntu installation. :twisted: :x :?
