I'm having a tough time deciding on an AM2 motherboard. I'm not a gamer or overclocker. I just want a reliable mobo.

I've seen some boards (Asus) which have external SATA connectors. Will this be a good thing to have?

One thing I need for sure is an external firewire port. External SATA or not, I'm open to mobo suggestions.

Isn't eSATA primarily intended for external storage? I stand to be corrected. Get a MOBO with eSATA connectors if you want external SATA HDDs.

I think (correct me if im wrong) that eSATA will soon be the newer USB.
