Hey all. Could use a little help.

I just dropped a new Motherboard and CPU into my secondary system and when starting the system back up, I'm getting a BSOD:

Stop: 0x0000007E (0xC0000005, 0xF7816750m 0xF7A5142Cm 0xF7A51128)

Ran a CHKDSK /R. Found and fixed one or more errors, but I'm still getting the same BSOD.

The Motherboard
ASUS A8N-VM <GREEN>

The CPU
AMD 64 3500+

The rest of the system:
1x512Meg DDR 400 RAM (for testing)
200 Gig P-ATA HD
Onboard Graphics (until I can get the system up)
Onboard Sound
CD and DVD Drives
Cooler Master 430 watt PSU

Any thought or ideas?

Edit: Forgot to mention that I did upgrade the BIOS to the latest from ASUS.

You're thinking that running Dual Channel will resolve it? I'll give it a shot. Just going to take a bit. I just started a system backup and it's going to take forever!

Oh Well. Thanks for the reply!

Well, I just rechecked the Manual and running with a single memory stick in slot DIMM_A1 is listed as a "recommended" memory configuration. Still running that system backup, so it may be tomorrow before I can test it.
