i have a linksys wireless card wmp54gs. and a linksys router.

im running xp pro sp2. is it possible to set up my wireless WITHOUT installing linksys' CD that comes with it?

wow that last post must have really helped you... hahaha

yes you can setup the router without running the CD.
The best way to do so is to confirm that the card is plugged in and functional on your laptop
then you should see a wireless icon on the bottom right hand corner of your screen. If not you can find it under the control panel ander wireless. Find your wifi router and double click it. this should allow you to connect to the wifi without using the CD.
