imo I choose the best memory I can afford. And Corsair is an excellent brand, whether you get the XMS2 or the value series. I have seen where certain past models of the Corsair value RAM overclocked excellent.
I am using XMS2 533MHz at 5.5.5.15 spd rated timings, but am running the 100% stable at 9x 334MHz 2.25vlts at timings of 3-3-3-8, far exceeding my expectations.
i agree with RichPLS, i too prefer corsair simply because it's a great ram, stable, oces well, never failed on me yet, so yeah if you're talking about brands, i'd suggest corsair as well.
Your question has been answered about 3 times now, get the corsair RAM unless you plan to overclock past 375mhz FSB, in which case you would need faster RAM (800).
