just wanted to give u guys the latest news http://www.fudzilla.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=472&Itemid=1

Well that's pretty much in line with the rumours from a while back that the R600 would launch low volume 80nm parts, and quickly replace them with 65nm parts. The original rumour was 65nm at launch, but Fuad doesn't think it will be that quick, but then again the other rumour was 65nm spin in January so who knows what time frame we're looking at.

maybe now we have to wait even longer on the card from ATI?

Not really, it doesn't say it will not launch the R600, just that they will quickly replace it with the R650. So like was mentioned, in R580 fashion it will likely arrive shortly after launch to replace the 80nm part.

The more things change.... the more they stay the same.

the next few months will be: ATI launches x2900xtx which is faster than 8800gtx, immediately the next week nVidia launches 8900gtx which is slightly faster than x2900xtx, then ATI will unfold the x2950xtx which is much more powerfull of 8900gtx.The same story as before, x1950xtx was better than 7900gtx.
