I just bought a Philips Plasma TV in Canada. However, I found that
when I view DVD using the S-video or composite video input, there is a
darker region on the left side of the set (about 3 inch wide). That
is, when it is displaying grey on the screen, I see it as grey on most
of the screen and a deeper tone of grey on the left side for about 3
inches. However, the darker region does not exist using the component
video input. The Philips customer care is giving me a run around on my
problem (A word of advice, don't buy a Philips TV if you are living in
Canada, their customer support center will not be able to help you in
any way). Is there anyone on the group can suggest some solution?

Thanks
