I just installed a video card in my system (x1950pro) and I was wondering if I should uninstall the video driver for my integrated graphics chip. I've disabled the integrated graphics through the device manager but the "Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver" is still showing up in the 'add/remove' programs menu. Is there any harm in keeping it around in case my VGA card fails? I know you're always supposed to uninstall previous graphics drivers before installing a new card, I'm just not sure if that applies to integrated.

it may be worth downloading drive cleaner pro and running it after you unistall the intergrated graphics drivers just to make sure ther is nothing left to create conflicts.
