Opinions on best CRT RPTV

I liked the Samsung DLP but I really wanted the 61" JVC HD-ILA but I
purchased the Hitachi 57S715 (HD built-in tuner) $2200.

Once you add up all of the costs: 1) HD tuner ($250-300) and 2) TV
stand ($200-300) and 3) HDMI cables (from tuner to TV) - the HItachi
looked pretty good.

I liked the technology behind the JVC ILA but I could not get past the
cost.

Depth may be an issue but the JVC was 18.5" and Hitachi was 23.5" -
the cost was not worth 5 extra inches - my finished basement is 30' x
40' big.
