Install windows 7 acer veriton

Hi,
I have an acer veriton 1000 and am trying to do a clean install with windows 7. I have a bootable disc and everytime i try and start it it comes up with "Boot from CD :" then under it appears "BOOTMGR is missing" yet i get the same disc and put in my laptop and it starts the boot up process fine. Could someone please help as this is really atarting to do my head in.

So do you hit a key to boot from CD when it asks you to? This "bootable disk" is it the Windows 7 setup disk or what? Is it the ACER recovery disk that came with your system?

I just got it sorted about 10mins ago......we are all aweet....thanks anyway bro

i am having the exact same problem ne one know what i need to get the boot mngr?
