DVD BURNING SPEED HELP

I have nero and dvd shrink 2 and used alcohol 120 and it takes a long time to go through the whole process <maybe 45 min>(not the actual burning) it looks like it only uses a combined 27% of both cpu's I have the priority set to highest. Is there any settings or any ideas out there.

by the way i am not re-authoring or compressing.

What do you use Alcohol for? Are you just "backing up" DVD's? I have a 2.2GHZ opteron and it takes me about that long.

Are you burning to DL DVD's?, If not then it is compressing.
