I have found a way to get a good SD picture, even with a crummy signal, on
my 60" LCD RP HDTV. I use the "twin view" feature to put two pictures on
screen, one from each tuner in the TV. I tune the one I don't want to watch
to a channel with no signal, so it goes to black. I adjust the size of the
other one down to about 32" diagonal. The SD picture looks just fine, more
or less as it would look on a regular 32" set.
